The goal of the Horizon Project is to survey emerging technologies, trends and ideas to identify those that are likely to have an impact on higher education with a 1, 3, 5 year and beyond timeline. The Horizon Project Virtual Community of Practice (or VCOP) has been set up to collectively identify and assess new and emerging practices that accompany learning technologies and to communicate findings back to higher education institutions.
