Upcoming Events!
We are having our first Horizon Project VCOP synchronous session on Friday Oct 15 at 5pm PDT.
We will be meeting in the Horizon VCOP iCohere environment and also on the phone bridge. The session will be a small, somewhat informal introduction to the resources at our disposal in the VCOP. We are also hoping to survey participants to determine interests, potential topics and to start to list the goals for the VCOP. If you cannot make it for the presentation, check back later - we will archive the session.
One other event to be aware of is our Face to Face session at Educause next week. On Tuesday, Oct 19 from 3-5pm MDT (2-4 PDT), we will meet at the Florentine Room in the Hyatt at Educause. Those unable to come along can join virtually in the iCohere environment (you need to request an ID through horizon@educause.edu). We will also be experimenting with VOIP (Skype out) to the conference line, real time blogging, a wiki and video chat. We hope you can attend either in person or online.
