Predicting the Future of eLearning?
About a million years ago (actally it was five), my school (The University of British Columbia) went through an elaborate process to try to predict the future of eLearning. The ACCULT (Academic Committee for Creative Use of Learning Technology) committee was set up and surveyed the campus. One of the products that they came up with was this video which charts a day in the life of a student in 2005!
We are now in a position to open up this time capsule to see how we did.
Your assignment:
1) watch the video (it takes 8 minutes)
2) reflect on its accuracy
3) comment on it! How well did it predict the future?
Discussion is in the Horizon VCOP site. Join up if not a member!
For more information including a lower bandwidth video and the ACCULT report, check out this ACCULT site.
