Horizon VCOP Open House April 11th
Please join your fellow members in the Horizon Project Virtual Community of Practice on Monday April 11, 2005 at 5pm PST. (http://tinyurl.com/4er7r) for an open house session.
Come to share, learn and connect through discussing our current practices, ideas and projects around technnologies in education - whether they be new/emerging technologies or new practices with existing technologies. We will also explore past presentations and existing online resources and start to plan future presentations.
So come and share your insights, projects and experiences! Afterwards, there will be optional tours of the virtual space to introduce new members to the many features of the Horizon Project VCOP.
This session kicks off our new schedule of biweekly synchronous sessions. Every second week we will alternate between a presentation on emerging practices associated with learning technologies and a general open discussion about the current state of affairs.
Future topics include: sakai, learning objects and pachyderm and forms of what has been termed narrowcasting such as podcasting, vodcasting and PSPcasting. Don't get put off by the the plethora of new terms .... these are all fun things! :-)
