The Spencer Entomological Museum gets a lot of calls about particular insects at different times of the year. If you live in the Pacific Northwest (or maybe even if you don't) and you've suddenly seen a large number of a certain insect, and you're wondering what it is, check the table below. The answer: it may be the BUG of the MONTH.
Here in Canada, our insects become very inactive in the winter months. Some of them move indoors. So, from December - March, the BUGs of the MONTH are insects which you might find indoors at that time, or at any time of the year for that matter.
