Living in Oblivion
A big hit at the Berlin fest, Tom DiCillo's delicious send-up of the world of low-budget film-making is a serio-comic delight. Murphy's Law is the order of the day as Steve Buscemi, a frustrated auter, battles brain-dead actors, budgetary constraints, and overly stoked libidos in pursuit of "art". A gas from frame one to frame end.
