P.J Hogan's (Muriel's Wedding) comedy of embarrassment features the luminous Julia Roberts as a food writer determined to break up the impending marriage of her best friend (Dermot Mulroney, in the film's sole flat performance) to his extremely nice -- too, nice -- fianc (Cameron Diaz).
