The End of Violence
Wim Wenders' first American film since Paris, Texas (and like that film, this one is also scored by Ry Cooder) is a cool, gorgeously shot meditation on violence. Bill Pullman plays a schlock film producer forced to confront the fact that he is a purveyor of violent images. Andie MacDowell, Gabriel Byrne and Traci Lind co-star and the late Sam Fuller has a cameo.
