As Good As It Gets
Yes, Jack Nicholson is hilariously misanthropic as an obsessive-complusive writer in James BrooksÕ film, but the real revelation is how good Helen Hunt is as a put-upon waitress trying to make things right in her life. As these two disperate characters link up we are provided with scenes that are alternately funny as hell and very affecting.
