The second part of Krzysztof Kieslowski's trilogy based on the colours of the French flag, is a blackly comic film starring the radiant Julie Delpy and woebegone Zbigniew Zamachowski. He's a destitute Pole, divorced from his beautiful French wife (Delpy) for being unable to consummate their marriage and desperate to return to Poland. Once there, he displays a zeal for capitalism with ironic, bittersweet results... (France/Poland, 1994, subtitles, 92 min.)
