The triumphant final installment in Kieslowski's Three Colours series - this one based on "Fraternity" - features Irene Jacob (The Double Life of Veronique) as a model who befriends an old judge (the wonderful Jean-Louis Trintignant). Kieslowski masterfully ties the various threads from the previous films together and comes up with, perhaps surprisingly, an optimistic finish. A must see. (Switzerland/France/Poland, 1994, subtitles, 98 min.) 14 Years Limited Admission: occasional nudity and suggestive scenes.
