The Winter Guest
With a dark humour that pervades the film, Alan Rickman's directorial debut features real-life mother and daughter Phyllida Law and Emma Thompson as estranged mother and daughter brought together by the death of the daughter's husband. Gorgeous cinematography, great acting and all that quirky humour make it a treat to watch.
