Withnail and I
Bruce Robinson's scathingly funny look back at London circa 1969 as seen through the baleful eyes of two unemployed actors - the hilarious Richard E. Grant as the madman Withnail and Paul McGann as the besieged "I". Down on their luck, Withy consume as much alcohol as possible, rail against their fates, and then head to the country for some "relaxation"... Hilarious still.(Great Britain, 1987, 104 min.)
