I'm a student at BCIT, majoring in Computer Science. I saw the article in The Province and decided to voice my opinion.
I belive there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with free enterprise. The fact that UBC can just "boot" him off campus just doesn't seem right. In fact, on our campus in Burnaby....we have the same vendors who also supply food at either the same price or maybe a little higher...but the QUALITY is 10x better....
Personally, I don't think that Andre should be kept from what he has been doing. I think it's a great service to the students at UBC.
What you do with this letter is up to you, you can trash it if you want, but I just thought that you may be interested to know that students at othere institutions feel the same way.
